Coda Fiddle Scholarships Presented

Rock Star Awards Scholarships Presented

Angela Fletcher was delighted to present two music students from the Coda Fiddle Orchestra with their scholarship certificates from the Rock Star Awards in 2014.

The Rock Star Awards ceremony in 2014 featured The Coda Fiddle Orchestra who played two sets for the audience of 375 people at The O2 Bournemouth. Rock Recruitment supported The Coda Fiddle Orchestra as their charity of the event, donating a small percentage of ticket sales to the organisation. Rock were able to riase £750 from ticket sales in thie way to donate to Code Fiddle, which we are delighted to discover was enough to provide one-to-one music tuition for two students for a year.

The Coda Fiddle Orchestra works with children and young people from across Bournemouth, engaging them in music and providing opportunities they would not normally have access to. The two students awarded the scholarships are Lucinda Wood and Khadija Gabroun, both aged 12.

Angela Fletcher presented their certificates and said " I am delighted that the Rock Star Awards and Rock Recruitment are able to positively support Khadija and Lucinda in ths way for a whole year. We wish them huge success with their musical careers and hope to see them perform again. The Orchestra wowed our audience at the O2 Bournemouth last year and we are delighted to have given them all the opporunity to perform on such a big stage."
